Obituary

Anne “Blair” Weaver Jarrell passed away peacefully on August 27, 2023. To honor Blair’s life and legacy, a memorial service will be held Saturday, September 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 5585 Burlington Road, McLeansville, North Carolina.
Blair was born on January 15, 1965, in Greensboro, North Carolina to Robert “Bob” Lee Weaver and Rebecca “Becky” Alberty Weaver. She was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many with her warm spirit. Her legacy is one of unwavering love. May her memory forever inspire us to live our lives with strength, compassion, and a commitment to cherishing the moments that truly matter.

Blair’s journey began at Dudley High School, where she graduated proudly as a member of the Class of 1984. Family was of utmost importance to her, and she deeply cherished the time spent with her two children, Holden Brooks Weaver of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Annalee Victoria Jarrell of Greensboro, North Carolina.

Throughout her life, Blair found joy in the simplest pleasures. An avid music lover, she immersed herself in most genres, played guitar, and belted out tunes as an enthusiastic karaoke singer. Her passion for music was infectious, spreading happiness to those around her. Alongside her love for music, Blair was a devoted mother, finding immense joy around loved ones. The grace she bestowed upon family and friends was undeniable and her smile would light up any room. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Surviving is her loving and supportive family, including her brothers Bruce, Brooks, Brandan (Norma), Blaine, and Brett Weaver (Debbie), as well as her sisters Bridget Weaver, Beth O’Hara (Greg), Bernadette Price (Frank), Babette Smith, Barbara Eller, and Becky Weaver (Steve). Blair’s mother, Rebecca “Becky” Alberty Weaver, also mourns the loss of her beloved daughter. She leaves behind numerous adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Blair’s memory to Calvary Baptist Church.
