    Doug and Sandra Cothran says:
We are sorry to hear about Arlene. There are very few leaves left on our family tree and it keeps getting thinner. While I can only express our deepest sympathy, I know that Arlene, Ken, Mom and Dad are having a great time sharing the beauty of their new home. We love each of you and regret that distance, work and circumstances have kept us apart. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time and always! Love, Doug and Sandra Cothran Greenville, SC

    Boyce and Nancy Porter says:
Our prayers are with your family during this time.  Arlene was a wonderful lady and I wish we would have lived closer and could have spent more time together.  She was my cousin (Nancy's), and she loved my parents, especially my mother, Nannie Sue Cothran.

    Wendell Cothran says:
I am so sad to learn of Arlene's passing.  We shared such wonderful memories and family updates.  She and Nannie Sue were such wonderful letter writers and kept the family reminded of significant family events.  I connected with Arlene on Facebook and we shared many stories about family.  Dad performed Ken and Arlene's wedding ceremony.  She always reminded me of that.  What I most want the family to know is how beautiful inside and out Arlene was.  I will hold precious memories of family reunions, and my Facebook chats with my cousin.  Please know we are praying for you and that God's grace is sufficient for your need. Blessings, Wendell, Judy, Allyson, and Jonathan Cothran

    George Mason says:
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your loved one.  May the hope of the resurrection provide you with comfort during this time of bereavement.   God's Word the Bible can give you comfort and peace, especially the provision of the resurrection of the dead.  This is sure and you can place confidence in it, because God, who promised it, cannot lie. "and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Revelation 21:3,4; John 5:28,29)
