Pleasant Garden- Mr. Arnold A. Morton, 67, of Pleasant Garden, NC peacefully went home to be with his lord and savior and stand before God, Friday, August 11, 2023. His daughter was by his side holding his hand.
Arnold met the love of his life when he was 18. He and his wife Margaret were married 3 months later and just celebrated 49 yrs together. They were the epitome of true love. The family always joked and said that they had that “Johnny and June” kind of love. Arnold passed 4 days shy of 4 weeks ago when his wife went to be with her Lord and savior. The family rejoices knowing that they are back together again and with their baby child, Chris.
Arnold was a great man; to know him was to love him. His daughter, Melissa has great fond memories of her childhood being “daddy’s little girl.” He loved her brother just the same. Arnold was a hard worker and provided for his family very well. He was a General Contractor and even built the family’s home in 1994.
Arnold is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Reverend Dr. Diane Morton; his baby child, Chris and his father, William Morton.
Arnold is survived by his daughter Melissa Morton of the home; and two beautiful granddaughters, Kaydance Lynne Morton and Kayla Michele Morton whom he loved to no end.
The family once again would like to thank Director Keith Davis with AshRand EMS and his awesome crew for taking such good care of their mother and daddy during their many transports to appointments. You all became and will remain as family to Melissa.
In lieu of flowers donations are being requested to help with the cost of his cremation. You can make those donations straight to Triad Crematory. Please help if you can.
