Obituary

Ashanti Nikol Davis was born on May 11, 2002 to Jeremy and Donzaletta Whitt.  On Tuesday, January 1, 2014, God saw that His angel needed rest, and He came to take Ashanti home to sweet rest at the age of 11 years old.  Ashanti is survived by her parents, Jeremy and Donzaletta Whitt, brother, Omar Davis, and sister, J’Mhari Whitt, all of Reidsville, NC, as well as many loving family members and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to the PICU staff of Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston Salem, NC.  At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers please donate a Teddy Bear to Jerusalem UHC (Reidsville, NC) that will be presented to The Brenner's Children's Hospital in honor of Ashanti Nikol Davis.

 

Professional services have been entrusted to Triad Cremation Society and Chapel, Inc. of Greensboro, NC.   All services will be held at Jerusalem United Holy Church, 633 Prince-Williams Street, Reidsville, NC.  The viewing will be held from 5pm – 8pm on Friday, January 3, 2014.  The celebration of life will be held on January 4, 2014 and visitation will take place 12:30pm – 1pm prior to the service.
