BROWNS SUMMIT – Barbara M. Turner, 64, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at her home. A visitation will be held Monday, July 7, 2014, 1:00PM, at The Covering Church, 5107 Balboa Street, Greensboro, North Carolina, 27405.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Youth Deparment of The Covering Church, by mail or online at www.coveringchurch.com.   Cremation services entrusted to Triad Cremation Society & Chapel, Inc.

    Barbara came to my home in October of 2012 to pray with me and for me while I was going through a very horrible time in my life. I had only talked with her briefly over the telephone before that and had never met her in person until that day. She had the love of Jesus surrounding her every time I saw her. She amazed me with her loving kindness; I had wondered "How could someone who doesn't even know me love me & care so much?" This was Barbara's way. Her spirit was one of absolute love and I am sure she is walking with Jesus through the gardens of paradise at this very moment. I love you Barbara.

    I've knew Barbara over 30 years; through all kinds of life experiences she relied on God to lead the way.  Brandi and Jenny, please know you have my love and I'm always here for you both.  To the rest of Barbara's family, though I don't know you well, I do know that you loved and looked over Barbara.  Barbara was a blessing to many people; she is now home with our Lord and Savior.  Though we mourn her earthly departure, we celebrate her homecoming to God's kingdom.
