Obituary

Bobby Joe Lemonds, 59, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014.  A memorial service will be held 4:00PM, Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Hodgin Valley Farm, 561 Hodgin Valley Rd. Pleasant Garden, NC.  Cremation services entrusted to Triad Cremation Society & Chapel.

Bobby was an avid outdoors man. He loved the  mountains and the coast, as seasons    permitted he would hunt and fly-fish in the mountains. All coastal trips, he could be found with fishing rods out and ever     searching of the great find of a sharks tooth. His love of nature could be seen through his drawings, paintings and carvings of various wildlife. Preceding his illness, he loved the freedom of riding his Harley whether it is for personal or fund raisers all were pleasure. He also loved trips to any body of water that allowed him the opportunity to snorkel or  scuba dive off the North Carolina and South Carolina coast, the Cayman Islands, and many lakes in our state and Virginia, where there was a cabin shared by dear friends. One of his greatest pleasures came with many walks to the backyard creek where he introduced his baby girl Nikki, her friends, God children, other family friends and children to the aspect of just playing in the creek.                            Our “Peter Pan.”
