Obituary

Chineta Malloy Brown, departed this life on Saturday, April 29th, 2023.

She was a native of Rockingham County and attended the Rockingham Public School System. She was a graduate of Rockingham Community College and later entered the workforce holding several management positions. She retired from Wieland Copper Products as a production manager and was a Greater Grace Temple Holiness Church member. She loved serving God with her church members until her health declined.

She is preceded in death by her parents Virginia Thacker Malloy and Robert Lee Malloy; brother, Leonard "Looney" Malloy; and son Decarole "Tony" Martin.

She is survived by her son/caretaker Radondo (Detra) Martin; Step-son Cedric Grey; Grandchildren, Jaeqwon Martin, Shamara Satterfield and Jaelyn Martin; Sisters, Virginia (Grady) Hoover, and Dorothy Valentine; brothers, Steve Malloy and Robert L Malloy, a devoted best friend Sylvia "Strange" Moore, a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and friends.

A special thank you to Paulette Foy and Glenda Davis of Sharon Baptist Church of Stoneville, Johnny Martin, Tonya Timlick, Keisha Valentine, LaToya Valentine, Josephine Moore, Sylvia "Strange" Moore, The Barry Joyce Foundation, and Med-Hospice.

A funeral service will be held Friday, May 5th, 2023, at 2110 Servomation Road, Greensboro, North Carolina, 27407 with visitation from 2 pm-3 pm and the service immediately following at 3 pm.
