Codies Ingram, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and cherished member of the community, passed away on July 7, 2023, in Guilford County, North Carolina. He was born on December 24, 1946, in Guilford County, North Carolina, making him 76 years old at the time of his passing.
Codies dedicated over 20 years of his life to working at Akzo Noble before retiring. His commitment to hard work and excellence was evident in all that he did. He found great joy in his passion for classic cars, spending countless hours caring for and admiring his collection. Codies was not only a car enthusiast but also a family man who deeply loved his role as a husband, father, friend, and the best pawpaw in the world. He was known to be a good dad and a loving husband, always there to support and provide for his family.
In his spare time, Codies found contentment in simple pleasures. He took pride in washing his cars meticulously and enjoyed the satisfaction of a well-groomed lawn. These activities brought him peace and allowed him to appreciate the beauty of his surroundings.
Codies was a faithful attendee of Word of Comfort Outreach Ministry, finding solace and spiritual guidance within its walls. He was also an alumnus of William Penn High School, where he completed his education and formed lasting connections.
Codies is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rebecca Ingram, his mother, Jessie Mae Ingram, his brother, Redell Ingram, and his son, Ashley Buie. Although deeply mourned, his memory will be kept alive by his surviving family members and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Tamika Saunders, his sons, Wayne Buie and James Buie, and his sister, Nadine Quick. Additionally, he leaves behind his grandsons, O’Hage Saunders, Sa’Quest Townsend, Avery Buie, and his great-granddaughters, Sole’I Driver, Tariya Robinson, Aubrey Buie, and Anylah Buie. Codies also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish their memories with him.
Codies Ingram will be remembered as a hardworking, dedicated man who held his family and friends close to his heart. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and devotion will endure in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace.
A Visitation will be held on Friday July, 21st 2023 at 10 am, at Triad Cremation & Funeral Service, In Greensboro, NC. Followed by a Funeral Service at 11am.
