Obituary

Davis Wilson Sechrist, age 62, of Advance went home to be with the Lord and was reunited with his parents on June 19, 2023.

He was born April 17, 1961 in Winston Salem, North Carolina the son of the late Stella Everhart Walker and David Walker.

He attended Pine Chapel Baptist Church, enjoyed listening to music, hearing sounds of laughter and eating great food. “Davie” had a special and unique bond with his parents and is now enjoying his new spiritual life in heaven with his loved ones.

Left to cherish his memory are his cousin and caregiver, Carla Coffey; aunt, Carolyn Pardon; and numerous other beloved cousins, family and friends.

A private service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff of Bermuda Commons and Hospice for their compassionate care.
