Obituary

Dena Dale Haymore, age 54, of Eden passed away May 21st, 2023. 

She was born October 4th, 1968 in Rockingham County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Durwood Haymore and Rachel Scott Haymore. She is also preceded in death by her three sisters, Melissa Barker, Wanda Haymore, and Shannon Haymore. 

Dena enjoyed her new life of recovery by going on long drives, gardening, volunteering in the community, and most of all spending time with her daughter and family. 

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Logan Taylor (Stephen); niece, Stacie Mitchell (Bradley); nephews, Justin Corum (Heather) and Taylor Barker (Brittany); dear nieces, Aubree Mitchell and Adleigh Mitchell; granddog, Bean Taylor; and numerous other beloved family and friends. 

The family will have a celebration of life 10 AM, Friday, June 9th, 2023 at Church of God of Prophecy in Eden, North Carolina.

    This breaks my heart. Dena was my best childhood friend and neighbor. I have soo many memories with her as young girls. I stayed at her home so many times we were like sisters...although we lost touch through the years I always loved her and wished the best for her. May God give you comfort Logan during this sad and difficult time.?
