Obituary

LEXINGTON – Flo Rea Wilkes Shoaf , age 85 of Lexington, died Tuesday November 18 at  Alston Brook.  Per her wishes there will be no formal services. A private memorial will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Shoaf was born November 23, 1928 in Davidson County to George L. Wilkes and Elizabeth Koontz Wilkes.  She retired from Hekman Furniture and  was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents;  husband, Gerald M. Shoaf  in 1975, and brother George L. ( Jimmie )  Wilkes.

Surviving are sons, Jerry Shoaf ( Jackie ) , and Tony Shoaf ( Cheryl ) of Lexington, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren,  sister-in-law, Ruby Wilkes, and  a special friend Myrtle Hege.

The family thanks Alston Brook and Hospice for the care given Mrs. Shoaf.
