Obituary

Gertrude “Trudy” Alice Klundt, died on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in High Point, NC, at the age of 86.  Trudy was born August 20, 1936, in Anaconda, Montana, to Evert and Joyce Top.

She received her Nursing Degree from St. Patrick School of Nursing in Missoula, MT fulfilling a lifelong dream.  She worked for several years as a nurse and then devoted her time to being a wife and mother.  Trudy had many interests throughout her life that included growing African Violets, Knitting, Spinning, and Quilting.  She was a true artist in all of her endeavors.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Irwin “Ike” Klundt, of 50 years, and her sister Barbara Rockwood.  Trudy is survived by her three children, Linda Irwin, John (Connie) Klundt and Christie (Brian) Scott; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her cats Keiko and Max who were her constant companions for the last 12 years.
