Mr. James “David” Hudson, 77, a resident of Pleasant Garden, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in Randolph Hospice Home. David was born in Guilford County to the late Russell and Beatrice Hudson on September 1, 1945. He worked as a welder for Butler Trailer for many years. David was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Phyliss Butler, Nancy Oliver, and Pearl Humble.
A celebration of life will be held by David’s family at his home on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Triad Cremation and Funeral Service is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Left to cherish David’s memory is his daughter, Sheila Oliver (Kevin Henderson) of Asheboro; sons, Wesley Robbins (Kelly) of Pleasant Garden, Darrell Robbins of Asheboro, and David Wayne Robbins; grandchildren, Summer Oliver, Bradley Henderson, Andrea Hernandez, Lexi Allred, Becca Robbins, Belle Robbins, Kirsten Robbins, and Harley Robbins; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Grady Hudson; a sister, Mamie Tharington; and a cousin with whom he was very close, Bobby Hudson.
