Obituary

Greensboro- Kay Leonard Gallant, 87, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at High Point Regional. Born March 18, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Leonard and Viola Clark Leonard. 

A small close family and friends gathering will be held in Kay’s honor on Wednesday August 24, 2023 from 4-6 pm at her residence.

Kay graduated from Bessemer High School in Greensboro, NC. Before her retirement, she worked at the Guilford County Courthouse, and for John Hancock Life Insurance Company. She enjoyed collecting antiques and silver, and traveling. 

Kay is survived by her son, Charles L. Ward, III; grandson, Christian R Ward; and sister, Judith Kiser. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund R. Gallant; brothers, Rueben Leonard and Keith Leonard.
