Laborn Alden Andrews III “La”, age 73, of Reidsville passed away May 31, 2023.
He was born May 30, 1950 in Guilford County, North Carolina the son of the late Laborn Alden Andrews Jr. and Margaret Catherine Lineberry Andrews. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roxanne (Roxie) Andrews.
Laborn worked with Duke Energy Company for over 40 years and retired as an electrical transmission manager. He enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, racing cars and being at the beach. Most of all he was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be missed by all.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Brian Edward Andrews; sisters, Sarah Murray and husband Don, Pamelia Barham, and Charlotte Lewis and husband Max; feline companion, Bootsie and a host of other beloved pets, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
