Obituary

Larry Maynard, 60, of Pleasant Garden, NC, went to be with his Lord and Savior, on April 29th, 2023, after battling cancer for the past 18 months, while he was surrounded by his family.

Larry is preceded in death by His Father W. Robert Maynard, Mother Colleen Brewington Maynard, and his Brother Robert (Bobby) S. Maynard.

Larry left to cherish his memory, his Wife Karen Maynard of Pleasant Garden, NC, Daughter, Jessie Lynn Maynard of Greensboro, NC, Sister, Wyolonda Maynard Smith of Greensboro, NC, Step-Son Caleb Oxford (Kelsey), and CJ Oxford of Pleasant Garden, NC, Grandchildren TJ Miller, Laila Miller, Ashlynn Oxford, and Wyatt Oxford, Nieces, Dana Lawrie ( Bryce) of Greensboro, NC, Jennifer Maynard Brunsting (Nelson) of Winston Salem, NC, Great Nieces and Nephews, Kayden, Maycie, Nora, Taylor, Bryson, and William. As well as numerous Family and Friends.

Larry grew up in Greensboro NC, graduating from Ben L. Smith High School. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, pawpaw, and friend. Larry was a truck driver with Yarde Metals and he truly enjoyed his job and coworkers. He enjoyed riding his Harley on the weekends and going to yard sales, estate sales, and flea markets. He would often stop on the side of the road to pick up what he considered "great" finds. He was a private person by nature but he never met a stranger. He loved his family and would do anything for them, just as they would for him. He will be greatly loved and missed until the day we are reunited in Heaven.

Arrangements entrusted to Triad Cremation & Funeral Service.
