Mary Jane Leidecker

Obituary

Mary Jane Leidecker ,age 82, of High Point, North Carolina and a native of Highland Park, Illinois passed away June 29, 2023 at Hospice of Randolph.

She was born May 29, 1941 the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Strenger and Edith Davis Strenger.

Mary Jane was outgoing, enjoyed volunteering, spreading joy to others and traveling the world. She was an active member of St. Christopher Episcopal Church and was a lady of faith. As a mother, she was always active in things her children were doing, becoming a Girl Scout Leader or volunteering with the PTA. Later in life she gave her time to Hospice, doing taxes for local seniors in her community or spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Dianne Stetina and husband Joe and Kathryn Frazier and husband Glenn; grandchildren, Brandon and Paul Stetina; and numerous other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 3 PM Thursday, July 13, 2023 at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 303 Eastchester Dr, High Point, NC 27262.

The family would like to thank Hospice and St. Christopher Episcopal Church for their wonderful care of Mary Jane throughout her illness.
