Obituary

Mary Lynette Martin Swisher, age 80, of Clemmons went to be with the Lord June 20, 2023.

She was born October 8, 1942 in Marietta, Ohio the daughter of the late Clarence A. Martin and Margaret Ward Martin. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leighton Dean Swisher.

Mary was a lady of faith, enjoyed reading her Bible and was active in the church. She loved her family, God and her country. Her compassionate nature led her to a lifelong career in nursing.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Margie R. Wenmoth and husband Todd; son, Greg L. Swisher; grandchildren, Emilee Wenmoth, Kylee Wenmoth, Accasia Swisher, Joel Swisher, and Jaron Swisher; and numerous other beloved family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held 1 PM Friday, June 23, 2023 at the First Christian Church, 6131 Frye Bridge Road, Clemmons, NC 27012 with a reception following.
