GREENSBORO – Ollie Wadell Maness (O.W.), age 81, of Greensboro, died March 8, 2015. Mr. Maness was born in Montgomery County November 20, 1933, a son of the late Ollie Martin Maness and Texie F. Moore Maness. He retired from H.B. Fuller in 1996. He had many hobbies throughout his life. Most gratifying was bowling and building model aircraft planes which he won numerous trophies utilizing his many skills and gifted talents. He was a member of the American Model Association and the local GRAMS club. Mr. Maness was a US Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Debby Lynn Maness of Pleasant Garden, his son, Randy Keith Maness, two grandchildren, Dylan and Kaylee Maness all of Greensboro, and one brother, Therman C. Maness of Pittsboro. A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Triad Cremation Society and Chapel, 2110 Veasley St, Greensboro.
