Obituary

Oscar Dee Harris passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Beacon Place Hospice. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 9 at Parkway Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. After more than a decade at Bestway Grocery, he then began his 26-year career with Food Lion where he was a dedicated employee at the time of his death. Preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Harris and left to cherish his memories are his wife, Barbara Harris; son, Robert Harris; father and stepmother, Robert and Betty Harris; Chris Clymer, extended family; and many neighbors who cherished Oscar's helpfulness. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beacon Place Hospice of Greensboro.

I am sorry to hear of Oscar's death. I meet Oscar when we were 8 years old at Rankin school.We went all the way through school together. I just seen him a few month's ago.
