    Vernon Burgess says:
Dear Burham family,                                                                                                                                      I.                                       I was so sorry to hear of your recent loss. Death is such a devastating thing, and even more so when it comes to one so young. At times like this we may have more questions than answers. But i always find that  God`s word the bible has not only comfort for us at times like this, but also answers to our most perplexing guestions. God`s word at Romans 5:12 tells us why we die when it says, " ... that through one man sin entered the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men..."  But our loving God Jehovah did not leave us without hope. In verse 21 of this same chapter its says that ..." we have  undeserved kindness through righteousness, leading to everlasting life, through Jesus Christ  our Lord."  I hope these few brief thoughts  will be helpful to you at this very sad time. And please be assured that our prayers are with you and your family.

    George Mason says:
"For man does not know his time. Just as fish are taken in an evil net and birds are caught in a trap, so the sons of men are ensnared in a time of disaster, when it suddenly overtakes them."(Ecclesiastes 9:12) "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement." (John 5:28,29)
