Obituary

Ray Dell Hankins of 811 Nance Avenue, High Point, NC, passed away January 8, 2014, at the Hospice Home of High   Point.  Ray was born May 30, 1943.
 

Ray was born in High Point to the late Akers L. and Alma B. Hankins.  Surviving are his son, Michael Dale Hankins and wife Beth, grandson, Michael Dale Hankins, Jr.; brothers Harold Hankins and wife Marilyn, Eugene Hankins and wife, Savannah; sister, Shelby Benson and husband Willie; sisters-in-law, Nancy Hankins and Kat Hankins. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Junior Hankins and Wesley Hankins.  Ray was a truck driver for Stylette Furniture for many years and later peddled furniture. He enjoyed fishing and working on automobiles and trucks.

The family will receive visitors beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014, and a memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Crossover Community Church, 723 Knightdale Avenue, High Point, NC  27262.

Cremation services entrusted to Triad Cremation Society & Chapel.
