Obituary

Reverend Dr. Diane Morton 71 closed her eyes for the last time on Saturday July 15th and stood before God. Her beloved husband, Arnold, and her daughter, Melissa, were by her side.

Dr. Morton loved the Lord and her family. She met the love of her life in February 1976 and they were wed in May 1976. They just celebrated 49yrs of loving each other and loving their kids and grandchildren.
Dr. Morton loved crafts and sewing. She could make any kind of clothing without a pattern. In her 60s she decided she wanted to further her education in the ministry. She went on to obtain her Bachelor’s degree, followed by a Masters degree and her Doctorate in Divinity.
Dr. Morton is preceded in death by her father, Elmer James Moore; her mother, Pearl Lawrence Moore; a brother, Steven Moore; and her baby child, Christopher Morton. She is survived by her devoted loving husband, Arnold, of the home; her daughter, Melissa Morton of the home; and 2 beautiful grandchildren, Kaydance Morton and Kayla Morton.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date. Any flowers or food are welcome at her home. Contact her daughter Melissa if you should need the address @ 984 265 0139
The family would like to thank Mr. Keith Davis and his EMS crew for the excellent care they took with Diane during transports. Dr. Morton loved each and every one of you as does Arnold and Melissa. There are just not enough words to say how blessed and thankful the family feels for every single one of you.
Fly high sweet angel! You’re with your dad and baby child now. You will always be loved and missed here by many…Rest easy our sweet Angel
