Sonseria Herndon (Foster) peacefully passed away on September 10, 2023, in Forsyth County, North Carolina. She was born on October 6, 1956, in Greenville County, South Carolina. Sonseria lived a fulfilling life of joy, love, and cherished moments, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be remembered.

With a passion for fishing, she found solace in the calmness of the water and the thrill of reeling in a catch. Sonseria enjoyed spending her leisure time watching the Discovery Channel and National Geographic, immersing herself in the wonders of the world. Adelle’s powerful voice and Susan Boyle’s enchanting melodies touched her heart, bringing comfort and inspiration.

Sonseria was a proud graduate of Woodbridge High School, where she acquired knowledge and formed lifelong friendships. She treasured the memories created during those formative years, which shaped her into the remarkable person she became.

In the hearts of her family and friends, Sonseria’s absence will be deeply felt. She is survived by her beloved son Daniel (Ennikki) Foster, devoted daughter Brandy Franke, cherished granddaughters Anna Foster, Danielle Foster, Mya Crump, Endia Crump, adored grandson Daniel Foster Jr., and great-grandson Christopher Crump. Sonseria’s siblings, Penny LaRose, Martha Williams, Gale Brewer, and Timothy Foster, will forever hold her close in their thoughts and memories.

Sonseria is preceded in death by her loving father, Marvin Louis Foster, her caring mother, Doris Elaine Shealy, and her dear brother, Billy Foster. Their spirits reunite, finding solace and eternal peace together.

Sonseria Herndon (Foster) will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family will continue to serve as an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
