Obituary

GREENSBORO – Susan Gail Ryals Drumwright was born on January 11, 1957, to Joyce Craig Ryals and Richard Ryals in Greensboro, North Carolina. Susan received her GED, and went on to study at Rockingham Community College in Wentworth, North Carolina.

Susan passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at Moses Cone Hospital after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ellis & Wilma Craig and Garland & Mildred Ryals; and her parents Richard and Joyce Ryals.

Susan is survived by her 5 children, Duanne Allen Ryals (Cynthia Lea Kennon), Jennifer Michelle Drumwright, Steven Anthony Drumwright, Richard Wayne Seay, and Joshua Brandon Lint; eight grandchildren, Austin Wayne Ryals, Ryan Allen Ryals, Alyssa Breann Ryals, Breana Alexis Cockerham, Nathaniel Cecil Cockerham, Jordan Jeffrey Cockerham, Jaylin Seay, and Markus Blake Lint; one brother, Richard Ryals; and one half-brother, David Ryals. Susan will be deeply missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service, 2:00PM, Saturday, October 4, 2014, at Gate City Church of God, 200 State Street, Greensboro, NC 27408.
