Sytony Rasavong

Obituary

Sytony Rasavong was born on May 1, 1953, In Vientiane, Laos, and peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital In Greensboro, NC.

Sytony was always committed to providing for his family. In 1979, he fled Laos during a time of war with his wife and two young children in hopes of a better life for his family. He settled in the Bronx, New York In 1981
where he welcomed his youngest child and resided in for over 40 years.

Sytony was very creative, handy and a fun loving person. He could build a house, fix any car, and prepare a beautiful tray of sushi in one day. He was not a man of many words, but you could always rely on his smile at
any instance.

Sytony will be sincerely missed by his family and friends. He Is survived by his wife, Chanh, his three children, Lath, Noune and Pontip, his three grandchildren, Ariya, Tai and Lila, and numerous friends and family.
