Obituary

Thomas James Obrecht, 74, passed away at the Guilford County Health Center on July 1st, 2023. He was born July 15th, 1948 in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School in 1968. He served in the Navy from 1970 until 1974.
He is survived by his wife Mary L. Obrecht, his oldest daughter Nicole Obrecht Cooper, his youngest daughter Megan “MooMoo” Obrecht & her fiance Jesse Hernandez, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Thomas forever loved & will forever live in our hearts!

    Daddy I can't even tell you where I would like to start at with this tribute. You know me I could write the world's biggest book on how you were and still are the BEST dad that any girl could ask for! You will forever live in my heart you will always be loved of course I'm going to miss you like crazy I promise that I will not forget everything that you have taught me in life and how to survive and I promise you Daddy that me and Jesse will make sure we take care of Mary but I'm sure you're up there watching over us still worried and still stressed out but like I said don't worry we got this you taught me very well and I definitely will damn sure make sure that your wife is taking care of so please don't sit up there with Grandma and Grandpa and be worried and be stressing out just continue to watch over us and keep us safe it's never a goodbye like I always say it's a see you later so until we meet again Daddy I'll see you later #ForeverDaddysLittleGirl #RestEasy #LLT
