Obituary

Tim Fioretti, born on October 16, 1968, in Broward, FL, passed away peacefully at his residence on August 22, 2023. He was 54 years old.

Tim led a fulfilling life, marked by his dedication to serving his country and cherishing moments with his loved ones. As an armed detention service officer and honor guard officer for six years, he exemplified bravery and commitment. Tim also proudly served in the United States Army, displaying unwavering loyalty and devotion.

Above all, Tim found immense joy in spending time with his family. He took great pride in his son Josh, who followed in his footsteps as a member of the Junior Sheriff Department. Tim was Josh’s biggest hero, and their bond was unbreakable. Tim was a dedicated member of Westover Church for many years.

Tim will be deeply missed by his wife, Lois Fioretti, his son Josh Fioretti, step-daughter Ruby Zavala, and her husband Luis Zavala. He also leaves behind cherished grandchildren Sophia, Alliana, baby Z, and Norah. Tim’s parents, Evelyn Shelton and Vincent Paul Fioretti, preceded him in death.

To honor Tim’s memory, a funeral service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, at Triad Cremation & Funeral Service, at 2110 Servomation Road, Greensboro, NC 27407. Visitation will occur from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by the service at 12 p.m.
