Obituary

Tôn nữ Ngọc Trang, a remarkable woman known for her unwavering love and dedication to her family, peacefully passed away on July 20th, 2023, in Greensboro. She was born on November 4th, 1936, in Vietnam, making her 86 years old at the time of her passing.

During her early years, Ngọc Trang worked alongside her eldest sister as a midwife, owning their own clinic. Her entrepreneurial spirit and determination made her a trailblazer of her generation, showcasing her strength and independence. However, she selflessly chose to give up her career to embrace the role of a devoted mother and wife.

Ngọc Trang’s greatest joy in life came from doting on her children and grandchildren. Her nurturing nature and boundless love were evident in everything she did. In the 1970s, she immigrated to the United States, seeking new opportunities and a better education for her children.

She found solace and guidance as an active member of the Buddhist temple, Chùa Quan Âm. Her faith provided her with strength and comfort throughout her life’s journey.

Ngọc Trang is preceded in death by her parents, Tôn thất Thuận and Ngô thị Tùng, as well as her sisters Ngọc Tuyết and Bích Liên, and brother Phước. She leaves behind a loving family and countless cherished memories.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Charles Ho, along with her daughter Ngọc Anh and son Hoài Phương. Ngọc Trang’s legacy will live on through her beloved grandchildren, Brandon and Allison. She is also survived by her brothers Đài, Tân, Hưng, and Trường, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The services to honor and remember Ngọc Trang’s life will be held as follows: a funeral service on August 1st from 1-4 PM at Triad Cremation and Funeral Service, 2110 Servomation Road in Greensboro, followed by a Celebration of Life dinner at Chùa Quan Am, located at 1410 Glendale Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406.

Ngọc Trang will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her loving spirit, selflessness, and dedication to her family will forever inspire those whose lives she touched. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory bring comfort to those who mourn her loss.
