Obituary

Warren “David” Lovin, 68, a resident of Pleasant Garden, passed away peacefully in the arms of his wife, Deanna on Thursday, June 1, 2023. David wasn’t fearful to depart this world because he had the assurance of eternal life due to his faith in Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. A loving husband and father with good work ethics. 

He was an active member of Living Way Church in Greensboro for 24 years and served as an Elder, Small group leader and was lovingly  nicknamed   “Deacon Dave”. He delighted in  serving and offering practical help to those in need. David also enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle, reading( especially the Bible),  watching movies,  playing his guitar and singing.

David was an example of stability, strength, and integrity. He  was a good steward of what was entrusted to him in this life, starting with his family. He was the son of William Donald Lovin and Peggy Anne Fields and brother to William Donald Lovin, Jr. David was a great protector and an anchor to his wife Deanna, and their family, whom he loved immensely.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife; his son, Jon Lovin (Tammy); stepsons, Dustin Stringer (Faezeh) and Nathan Stringer (Isabella); grandchildren, Adam, Lily, Kolby, Asher, Emery, Luna, Anthony, and Victoria. 

A memorial service will be held by the family at Living Way Church on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 6:30pm with Pastor John Held officiating. Triad Cremation and Funeral Service is assisting the family.

David was truly a father to many. We will all miss you “Mighty Man” David/ Dad
