SEAGROVE – William Spivey, Sr., 65, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 15, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 PM at 3853 Happy Hollow Rd. Asheboro, North Carolina.

Father; Clinton Spivey, mother; Annie Archer Spivey, brothers; Darryl Spivey, Bob Spivey and wife Rita, David Spivey and wife Patsy, Doug Spivey and wife Pricilla.

i had the privilege to help take care of this man the last year of his life...he was full of wisdom which he shared with me often when he thought i needed it and sometimes when i didnt need it, never had a bad word to say about anyone, loved his children and grandchildren, and he was a loving caring husband...he lived with me and billy and i enjoyed every minute of it, i loved taking him to the doctors and on the way back home we would stop and get something to eat from hardees or bojangles, i loved sitting and having discussions with him about whatever...my favorite thing he would always remind me of was "it doesnt matter what other people think"...we miss you bill, and we always will...enjoy your time with ms. anna and jackie!!!

So sorry for the lost of William Spivey Sr. he was a good man, father and husband. May he rest in peace and no more suffering he has endured to the end of this old system. He was quiet and never said a harmful word to anyone. He will be missed deeply . The family has our deepest sympathy and prayers and hope the memories of the happy times keep the comfort. We love you all !!!
